School Highlights

- Our CTE Student of the Year placed 3rd for Gwinnett County. This is our second consecutive year having our CTE Student of the Year place at the county level. Our CTE Student of the Year also received a $40,000 scholarship from Amazon with an internship.
- Our ELL Department Chair received recognition from the state as the State of Georgia ELL Teacher of the Year.
- A Meadowcreek teacher was honored by the U.S. Department of State and the Fulbright Foreign Scholarship Board by being named a Fulbright Teacher for Global Classrooms Project Award winner.
- Meadowcreek Library Science students created a video titled Read Something Do Something. The video was nominated for an Emmy Award.
- One of our students placed 2nd in the state in Introduction to Information Technology at the FBLA State Competition.
- Meadowcreek had 20 students earn the AP Capstone recognition for completing both the AP Seminar Course and AP Research Course.
- Meadowcreek partnered with the GCPS Book Mobile to give our students a free book on the months of their birthdays.
- The Meadowcreek Girls’ Soccer Team and our Football Team qualified for the State Playoffs.
- Meadowcreek students place at the state level in FBLA, Track & Field, and Swim & Dive.
- Meadowcreek hosts Parent Workshops where parents leave empowered and educated on adolescent life today. For staff, the parent center offers Spanish Classes to empower teachers to build bridges with our students and parents.
- Meadowcreek is a Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) school. PBIS encourages positive behaviors with recognition for students who exhibit appropriate school conduct.
