  • Resetting Passwords - NEW 2023-2024

    Students in Grades 6-12 will be required to change their password immediately after the first successful login to the student portal. GCPS is strongly recommending that students generate a passphrase as their password. A passphrase is a sentence-like string of words that is longer than a traditional password, easy to remember, and difficult to guess. Students, families, and staff members can learn more about creating a passphrase by visiting our website here.

    The privacy and security of the information belonging to our students, families, and employees is a strategic priority, and we appreciate your support in the district’s efforts.

    Due to the expiration of USDA Covid 19 waivers, students will now be charged for meals unless they qualify for free or reduced lunch.

    We ask that all parents complete a free and reduced lunch application this year. We encourage you to complete the online application at School Lunch App Online

  • Parent Portal Updates

    If you do not have a Parent Portal account, you have two options to open an account. 
    1. Go to the Parent Portal information page using this link and print out the Parent Portal Form in your preferred language. Complete the form and take a clear photo of it. Also, take a photo of your ID. We will use this to verify you are the parent of the student. Send both of these images to Ms. Alanis at 
    2. Come to the school and ask for a Parent Portal Form. You will need your ID so we can verify you are the parent of the student. 
    What happens after you return the Parent Portal Form? Next Steps:
    1. You will get an email from the county with a link. Click the link!
    2. Enter your LAST NAME and USER ID
    LAST NAME: This must be the last name we have on file for you. USER ID: This will be your email address on file. 
    1. Create your password.
    Login to the Parent Portal using your new password and user ID.  
    What if I already have a Parent Portal account but forgot my password? 
    On the log-in page, click on the link labeled "Forget your password?" Another page will display. Enter your email address. If the email address is on file for the student number, your account information will be emailed to you. If you are unable to reset your password after completing these steps, contact our school. 

    Families that do not have a Parent Portal account can complete the Parent Portal Form. To verify your identity, you must return the completed form in person and show your ID. Due to Covid-19, we are also giving our parents a no-contact option. You can complete the form and take a clear photo of it and of your ID. Then, send both of these images to Ms. Alanis at
