    Whether you are new to Gwinnett County, transferring from another GCPS school, or returning to the district, we can't wait to meet you!

    Choose one of the following three options to determine what you will need to do to register your child:

  • Registration Dates

    APPOINTMENT/WALK-IN Registration: 

    Monday - Thursday, 8:00 AM - 11:00 AM

  • What to BRING to the Appointment / Walk-In Session

      • Withdrawal paperwork from former school
        • 9th grade - including report card with promotion status AND discipline history
        • 10-12th grade - including official or unofficial transcript AND discipline history
      • GA 3231 Immunization form
      • Birth Certificate
      • Social Security Card
      • Photo ID of enrolling parent/guardian (Legal guardian, other than parent, must have official court documents or notarized Kinship Caregiver Affidavit)
      • 2 Proofs of Residency
        • Current Mortgage Statement OR Property Tax Bill OR Lease Agreement
        • One of the following utility bills: 
          • Water
          • Natural Gas
          • Electricity

    If living with another family: Per Gwinnett County Public School Guidelines: Students who live with their parents or legal guardians but reside in the home of another adult and are seeking enrollment into Gwinnett County Public Schools must complete a Residency Affidavit form and turn it into your school upon registration. Click here for the Residency Affidavit form. 

    Kinship Caregiver Agreement: Students who live with a Kinship Caregiver (a grandparent, great grandparent, aunt, uncle, great uncle, sibling, or fictive kin) and are seeking enrollment in Gwinnett County Public Schools must complete a Kinship Caregiver Affidaivit form and turn it into your school upon registration. 

  • What to EXPECT at your Appointment / Walk-In Session

    A Meadowcreek High School counselor will provide academic advisement for the 2022-2023 school year. First semester core classes and electives will be selected at this time. Please allow up to 45 minutes for scheduled appointments OR longer if attending a walk-in session. Walk-ins will be seen on a first-come, first-serve basis.

  • My student is NEW to Gwinnett County Public Schools

    Please note: New international students must visit the International Newcomers Center (INC) BEFORE you can enroll at our school. Please visit their website for more information and to schedule an appointment. You may also schedule an appointment by calling 678-985-5200.


    Step 1: Online Registration

    Families of students who are brand new and have never attended a GCPS school should begin by completing the district's online registration process. Access the online registration from this link. 

    Step 2: In-Person Verification

    Once online registration is complete, please contact our Front Office by calling 770-381-9680. 

    You'll need to bring several documents with you to ensure your student can be registered in one visit. Please contact us if you have any questions about the required documents.

    Documents Required for Enrollment:

    • Student's birth certificate
    • Enrolling parent/guardian's driver’s license or other official photo identification
    • Student's Social Security card
    • Immunization record (Georgia Form 3231)
    • Hearing/Vision/Dental (Georgia Form 3300)
    • Previous school transcript (or for rising 9th graders, a final 8th grade report card)
    • Withdrawal form from the previous school
    • Discipline records from the previous school
    • TWO proofs of residency in the form of your lease, deed, or current homeowner’s insurance policy AND a current gas, water, or power bill - Residency Affidavit Link
    • Any special education or gifted eligibility information (as applicable)

    Please note, only the following people are allowed to enroll a student:

    • Parent (natural or adoptive)
    • Legal guardian (must provide legal documentation)
    • Foster parent approved by a state agency
    • Kinship Caregiver

  • My student is TRANSFERRING from another Gwinnett County Public School

    Step 1: Withdraw from Current School

    To transfer schools, you must first withdraw your student from their current school. That school will provide you with a Change of Status Form (and a withdrawal form.) The enrolling parent will need to complete the Change of Status Form and submit it, along with the other required documentation, to the new school.

    Step 2: Contact Meadowcreek High School

    Once you have the completed Change of Status Form, please contact our Front Office by calling 770-381-9680.

    You'll need to bring several documents with you to ensure your student can be registered in one visit. Please contact us if you have any questions about the required documents.

    Documents required for school enrollment:

    • Change of Status form and withdrawal form (provided by previous school)
    • Two proofs of residency in the form of a lease, deed, or current homeowner’s insurance policy AND a current gas, water, or power bill Residency Affidavit Link

    • Enrolling parent/guardian's driver’s license or other official photo identification

  • My student is RETURNING to Gwinnett County Public Schools

    Please note: Rising 9th grade students from Lilburn Middle School, Radloff Middle School, and returning Meadowcreek High School Students do NOT need to register. You can update student information through the parent portal, as needed.


    Reenrolling Students

    Students who have previously attended a GCPS school at any point in their academic career (no matter the amount of time) already have a GCPS student ID number and are considered re-enrolling students. 

    Step 1:  Online Registration

    Families of students who are re-enrolling should begin by completing the district's online registration process. MAKE SURE to choose the option for a parent/guardian that is NOT NEW to GCPS. Access online registration from this link. If you cannot log in to your existing account, you will need to complete your registration on paper in the office at your appointment. Please do not set up a new account as we will not be able to link your new information to the student’s already existing ID number.

    Step 2: Contact Meadowcreek High School

    Once online registration is complete, please schedule an appointment with our Front Office by calling 770-381-9680. 

    You'll need to bring several documents with you to ensure your student can be registered in one visit. Please contact us if you have any questions about the required documents.

  • Please refer to the GCPS Permissive Transfers page for a listing of GCPS schools accepting permissive transfers. Parents can determine if their address is in our cluster by checking this site.

Withdrawals

  • Meadowcreek High School wishes your child the best during the transition to a new school. Our school system has an easy-to-use, secure online withdrawal process that will allow you to complete the form required for withdrawing your child. Once you complete and submit the online withdrawal form, you will be contacted by a school representative to verify your id and to provide you with any additional information necessary to complete the withdrawal if needed for your child.
