- Berkmar High School, which finished third in 2022, won the Prostart Culinary Arts state championship for the first time in school history, and chef James Bryant was named the Georgia ProStart Educator of Excellence.

In May, eight of Berkmar High School's construction students signed employment contracts with local businesses to start working in the field immediately following their high school graduation.

Three Berkmar High School students were recognized by multiple metro Atlanta media sources for working together to help a woman who was nearly unconscious in the middle of a busy road.

Berkmar High School's Relay for Life team raised $8,000 during this year's campaign and was awarded the Gold Team and Event Site Awards.

Berkmar High School's JROTC Leadership team advanced to the National Army JROTC Leadership Bowl Championship last summer in Washington, DC.

The Georgia Department of Education recognized Berkmar High School as an AP (Advanced Placement) Honors School in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) and Humanities.
