Our Awards
In June 2010, GCPS TV was honored with its first EMMY award for What Is the School Effect? The award was presented by the Southeast Chapter of the National Association of Television Arts & Sciences. In 2011, 2013, and 2014, GCPS TV was again recognized by the academy, earning a total of 4 EMMYs for its popular children’s program Love That Book. To date, GCPS TV has earned a total of 9 EMMY awards.
Our Programs
GCPS TV programs include: Focus Moments, In5ive, ArtStage,Giving...The GCPS Way, GCPS Moments in History, English…Yes, I Can!, Spanish for Educators, ParentVision, and Love That Book. We also cover live events and produce professional development videos and digital learning modules.
Our Story
GCPS TV is a nationally recognized and award-winning educational access channel operated by the Broadcast and AV Media Department of Gwinnett County Public Schools (GCPS). Our station’s reach includes over 350,000 households in Gwinnett County, via cable broadcast partners Charter and Comcast; as well as over 180,000 students throughout the GCPS system. GCPS TV is also streamed live over the internet, and can be accessed via our GCPS TV app.
