The Brookwood High School Jazz Studies Program offers two ensembles by audition. The jazz ensemble focuses on composed big band literature and meets weekly after-school. The jazz combo is a smaller group with an emphasis on improvisation and meets during the school day. Additional groups are occasionally formed to meet student demand. The BHS Jazz Program values community involvement and performs at a wide variety of events throughout the GCPS system in addition to our curricular goals.

The Brookwood High School Music Tech Program offers four periods of music tech each day. Three beginning classes and one combined intermediate/advanced/mastery class allow for students to take music technology for four years if desired and qualified. Students learn basic music skills and work in GarageBand, Logic, and Reason to foster their creativity and appreciation for quality music. We release two albums a year (Fall and Spring) on Soundcloud.
