  • March to One Million Goal Met

    Since Fall 2014, Brookwood has been keeping close track of its overall charitable fundraising with an eye toward raising $1 million by May 2025. Despite the yearlong interruption from the pandemic, Brookwood has met the goal within only eight and a half years.

    Ranked as a Top High School by U.S. News & World Report and a Top STEM High School by Newsweek. One of only two GCPS schools over 90 in the state’s College and Career Ready Performance Index.

  • Science Olympiad Champions

    Science Olympiad: 10-Time State Champions

    Brookwood Science Olympiad was the 2022 State Champion, making it the program's 10th in the past 12 years. The Broncos earned state titles 2011-2019. In 2020, there was no competition due to the pandemic. Then in 2022, they once again rose to the top in Georgia. In 2023, they placed a close second at state, only to best that same team at the national competition.

  • Four Consecutive State Rings

    Athletic State Championships

    In 2023, Esports won its second consecutive state championship and Girls Basketball won its first. Brookwood Boys Swim & Dive earned its fourth consecutive state championship in 2019, the same year that Girls Swim & Dive retained its state title, and Boys Tennis captured the cup. In all, the school has 63 athletic state championships to its name.

    Testing for Lead in Water

    In December 2023, Gwinnett County Public Schools (GCPS) began participating in the Georgia Department of Education’s statewide “Clean Water for Georgia Kids” program. This program tests all drinking and cooking water taps in schools for lead.
