Art Club
The Art Club was organized to allow students to spend time with other students who have an interest in the Visual Arts. We meet once a month for art activities mixed with food, fun, and friendship.
Art Club is open to all students whether or not they take art classes. Students become members by paying the $10 annual dues online at MyPaymentsPlus.com. The club meets once or more monthly in B-17, from 2:20 p.m. to approximately 3:30 p.m. There is a 1-hour per month time commitment, August through May.

Open to 10th - 12th grade art students who have a "B" or better average in their high school art classes, and have taken a minimum of 1 full year of an art course. About Our Classes
Students enrolled in visual arts classes at Brookwood High School will experience numerous traditional and contemporary art making processes while working to enhance their own artistic voice. The focus of our art courses is on the development of students’ technical skills and higher-order thinking. Students will engage in the creative process, solve visual problems, and pursue open-ended inquiry through the production of artworks. Emphasis will be placed on creativity, problem solving, ideation, developing an informed use of the elements of art and principles of design, along with exploring art history.
Registering for Art
Students interested in pursuing the visual arts at Brookwood High School should indicate Visual Arts Comp I and II as their first choice at registration. After the successful completion of these semester-long courses, students can register for any advanced art class listed below.
Opportunities to Extend and Engage
Visual arts students at Brookwood High School have a number of opportunities to display their work at the local, regional, and national level through, along with participating in Art Club and NAHS.
