SCOIR College Management System

• Discovery High School students now have access to a new college guidance management system called Scoir (pronounced "score"). This new, modern online system will streamline the process of all application-related documents.
• We will use Scoir to:
• Help you search for colleges and save your top choices
• See the costs associated with each college
• Receive important weekly messages regarding scholarships through Scoir
• Virtual Campus visits.
• Scoir is very user-friendly.

• Student Profile - Fill out your profile to help your parent/guardian and/or counselor understand you beyond your grades and test scores.
• Aptitude Test - Take the YouScience assessment and receive a detailed report on your talents, link them to potential careers, and save related majors to your Scoir profile.
• College Search - Search for colleges based on your suggestions, interests & recommendations
• Campus Community Exploration - Explore campus communities through the eyes of fellow students with CampusReel videos
• Virtual Visits - Virtually tour colleges to gain a feel for the campus environment.
• Wall Content - Search for colleges by keywords to find schools that match these criteria through a social media-like experience.
• MyColleges - Create lists of schools that you want to follow, will apply to, and have applied to.
  • Cost - Work with your parents to understand what your true cost of admissions will be based on your EFC (estimated financial contribution) using the EFC Calculator.
