Checking out sick students
Should a student need to check out during the school day, the student should request a hall pass from the teacher and report to the clinic. A parent or guardian will be contacted to grant permission before a student is allowed to leave campus. Students will only be dismissed to a parent or guardian or emergency contact listed on the clinic card. Students who leave Discovery without following the check-out procedures will be considered AWOL from school and disciplined accordingly.
