C.O.R.E. (Chapter Officer Retreat for Excellence)
Early in the school year, we take our chapter officers for an activity-packed, 3-day/2-night retreat up in the North Georgia mountains. CORE is designed to provide Georgia TSA local chapter officers with an opportunity to develop interpersonal and leadership skills, gain necessary knowledge and abilities to carry out the duties of their individual offices, prepare a Chapter Program of Work for the upcoming year and bond with their fellow officers. CORE is held at The Kaplan Mitchell Retreat and Conference Center in Clayton, GA every September. [Cost estimate: $125]
Technology Day
This event is held at the Georgia National Fair Grounds in Perry, Georgia during CTSO week in October. At Tech Day, students have the opportunity to compete in various competitions to win Fair Award Ribbons and cash awards for themselves and their chapter. A GATSA rally helps get students pumped up and then compete in 11 uniquely GA TSA contests! In addition, attendees have the opportunity to purchase discounted, all-day ride passes to enjoy the fair. [Cost estimate: $25, plus food and rides]

In addition we have four signature events on site, a VEX State Qualifier Tournament, a First Lego League Tournament, a Georgia Electrathon Rally, depending on interest, a VEX IQ Tournament and, of course Leadercon wouldn’t be complete without our popular Armada Boat Race!
