    VEX Robotics

The Discovery High School Robotics Club competes in the internationally recognized VEX Robotics Competition.  Using the VEX system of components, you’ll learn the theories and practical applications of robotics as we practice, scrimmage, and compete with other high schools  throughout the county, state, and world! We’re looking for designers, builders, drivers, programmers, strategists, documenters, and organizers.  Whatever your skill sets, we can use your help! Membership in Robotics Club is open to all present, past, and future STEM Students.

    WHAT WE DO-ROBOTS!  ROBOTS!  ROBOTS!

At each of our meetings, we’ll be developing and honing our technical and competitive skills in robot building, as well as developing an understanding of how robots are used in the real world.   You don’t understand anything about robotics yet, you say??   Don’t worry.   We’ll teach you.

We’ll be traveling around the state to various competitions.  While I can’t reveal all the locations just yet, it rhymes with “Great Wolf Lodge”.  Most of the events will occur during a one-day trip, but some may also involve overnight travel.
