  • GSMST Lottery Registration

    Attention 8th Grade Parents & Guardians,

    The Gwinnett School of Mathematics, Science, and Technology is a unique high school that focuses on advanced and challenging studies in the fields of engineering, biosciences, and emerging technologies. Enrollment for the 9th grade class is open to all 8th grade students who are residents of the Gwinnett County school district attendance zone; who are successfully promoted to 9th grade by the end of spring semester, 2022; and who successfully complete an 8th grade math curriculum that is a full unit of Carnegie eligible Accelerated Algebra I or higher. Students in Carnegie-eligible Algebra I will need to achieve a 1st semester grade of 90% or higher – AND – 1) earn a Milestones (EOC) score in the Distinguished category (minimum scaled score of 92) OR 2) earn a score of 550 or higher on the math portion of the PSAT 8/9 or SAT (test must be taken no later than January 21, 2022). 

    GSMST is now accepting registration applications for the 2022-2023 freshman class. The registration deadline is January 21, 2022. Detailed information, along with the registration form, is available on the school’s website: https://www.gcpsk12.org/Page/14029

    An in-person informational meeting for the Mill Creek cluster will be held on GSMST's campus on Tuesday, November 16, 2021, at 7:00 PM.  Additionally, a make-up meeting will be held on GSMST's campus on Tuesday, January 11, 2022, at 7:00 PM.

  • Dual Enrollment for High School Students

    Dual Enrollment allows high school students (9-12) the ability to earn college credit while working on a HS diploma.  If eligible, students will have tuition, mandatory fees, and required textbooks paid for.

  • NEW PSAT Info for 8th Grade Students!

    • Visit studentscores.collegeboard.org (with a parent or guardian) to create a College Board account. This account will follow you throughout high school, so it is important to write down the username and password you select!
    • Once your account is created, login and select “PSAT 8/9 Scores” or use the “Add Scores” option to access your PSAT score.
    • Go to satpractice.org and create a Khan Academy account (simply login if you already have a Khan Academy account)
    • When prompted, agree to link your Khan Academy and College Board accounts
    • Follow the steps to authorize the linking of your accounts and start practicing!

  • Work Permits

    If you are at least fourteen years old and interested in obtaining a job, you will need to file a work permit.  Directions for filing an online work permit can be found on the Georgia Department of Labor website at the following link:
