Mission:

To provide students with an opportunity to learn the foundations of proper performance technique as well as to share their knowledge and enthusiasm for guitar.

Description of Activities:

Club members will meet weekly to share their knowledge, techniques, and songs learned with their fellow club members as well as learn new skills. We will also listen to music, watch performances by famous guitarists, and discuss the history/evolution of the guitar.

Student Requirements:

Interested students must fill out the registration below and return it to Mr. Sawyer by Friday, August 24th. Players should be able to comfortably play at least five chords without using a reference sheet and comfortably change between these chords. All students are expected to bring their own guitar, tuner, and capo.
