Local Chapter of International HOSA: Future Health Professionals. This organization is co-curricular. It is designed to support a deeper understanding and exploration of health science fields. Students are engaged in monthly activities that promote real world experiences in health careers. Annually, students compete with other Georgia HOSA chapters to gain recognition as leaders in content areas they are interested in exploring. At Discovery, this organization currently hosts school and community blood drives and initiates activities aimed at supporting school and community health as well as career promotion.
