The mission of the K-5 Science Office is to advance the teaching and learning of the science Academic Knowledge and Skills (AKS). The Office supports leaders and teachers in providing all K-5 students with daily safe and engaging science learning experiences that cultivate curiosity, promote problem-solving skills, and inspire innovation, resulting in graduates who can respond to opportunities and apply their learning within their local and global community.
