Our purpose involves advocating for you to use your voice for youth around the globe by staying civically engaged on a federal, state, and local level, taking legislative action online and during key moments throughout the year to push for funding and policies for children, and educating to raise awareness among your peers and in your neighborhood about UNICEF USA. We support UNICEF’s global work through yearly campaigns around issues such as mental health, immunization, water and sanitation, education, protection from violence, and more.  We also build communities by finding opportunities to promote the work of UNICEF in our local community and tapping into our existing relationships with community organizations, schools, or faith-based institutions.  The reach of UNICEF USA programs and priorities is extended through activities such as Trick-or-Treat, World Children's Day, Advocacy with government officials, Child-Friendly Cities Initiative, and moreActivities:  planning and supporting fundraisers that generate donations for UNICEF; contributing to UNICEF’s impact on children by hosting a fundraiser, such as a film screening, bake sale, or cultural event.
