"Seckinger High School's Gay-Straight Alliance (GSA) is a student run organization for LGBTQ+ students and their allies. Alongside their teacher sponsors, students aim to work toward an accepting environment for all people regardless of sexual orientation or gender identity. We believe that in order to cultivate a truly welcoming and safe environment, every student must be assured of access to an education without fear of harassment or violence, and this can best be accomplished through education, support, social action, and advocacy.Through our activities, we aim to reduce feelings of isolation or alienation that students may experience. We welcome all students to participate in our after-school events, and to voice issues concerning bullying or harassment due to prejudice and discrimination. We are here to support one another, share resources, learn together, and have fun! Come join us!"
