  • International Families

    Step 1: Schedule an Appointment at the International Newcomer Center

    International Families:  Schedule and intake appointment with the International Newcomer Center (INC). All families enrolling from outside the United States must first visit the International Newcomer Center prior to coming to Seckinger High School.

    Step 2: Schedule an Appointment with Seckinger High School

    After completing your intake appointment with the International Newcomer Center, you must schedule a registration appointment with Seckinger High School. 

    STEP 3: Email Reminders for Enrollment Appointment

    Reminder emails will be sent with details about your enrollment appointment, including the date and time. ​

    Step 4: Seckinger High School Enrollment appointment

    The enrolling parent or legal guardian and the student should arrive 5 minutes before the scheduled appointment. All documents should be uploaded no later than 2 days before your appointment. The list can be found here: Required GCPS Documents for New Student Registration.

    Please make sure you have all the required documents completed BEFORE making this appointment or your registration process could be delayed.  

    Guardianship and Enrollment:

    To register a student, you must be the parent or legal guardian. You must have legal guardianship papers from the courts or a copy of the student's birth certificate and your ID/driver's license/passport, matching the name(s) on the documentation.

    Step 1: Gather All Necessary Documents For Online Registration

    Be sure to read over the required documents for registration. Your child's registration and enrollment will not be finalized until ALL required documents have been uploaded electronically.  Click here for a List of Required Documents

    Reminder: Uploading Requirements for Documents

    • Document attachments should be uploaded in these compatible formats: PDF, JPG, DOC, PNG, 
    • The file size limit is 2 MB. 

    Step 2: Complete the Online Registration Process (OLR)

    Step 3: Book Your Enrollment Appointment

    Reminders:

    • The enrolling parent (legal parent or guardian) and student must attend the enrollment appointment.
    • No hard copies will be accepted during your enrollment appointment.
    • All documents must be uploaded at least two days before your enrollment appointment.  If all documents are not uploaded, the enrollment process could be delayed.  
    • The enrolling parent or legal guardian and student should arrive 5 minutes before their enrollment appointment.
    • Reminder emails will be sent with details about your enrollment appointment, including the date and time. 

    • GCPS Transfer Students From Another School in GCPS

      It is extremely important to bring a completed withdrawal packet from the GCPS school your child is withdrawing from this year.  ONLY the enrolling parent or legal guardian can withdraw the student from another school in GCPS.   

      Any incomplete withdrawal packets could cause a delay in your enrollment process at Seckinger High School.

      Step 1: Withdrawal Packet, Status Change Form, Complete OLR

      • Complete withdrawal packet from former GCPS school - Bring to enrollment appointment
      • Click here to complete the GCPS Status Change Form - Bring to enrollment appointment​
      • Complete the OLR for the transferring student. Enrolling Parent/Legal Guardian must upload proof of residency and other required documents. - Complete at least 2 days before your enrollment appointment

      • Bring K-12 Status Change Document to your enrollment appointment.    
      • OLR Required Documents Uploaded - Proof of Residency and other required documents should be uploaded 2 days before the enrollment appointment.

    • We wish your child the best during this transition to a new school. 

      Gwinnett County Public Schools has an easy-to-use process allowing you to withdraw your child from school.

      Step 1: Book an appointment to withdraw your student. 

      Contact Patricia Rodriguez  678-288-0791 for a withdrawal appointment.

      Step 2: Complete the respective (HIGH SCHOOL) Gwinnett County Public Schools withdrawal form

      Step 3: Withdrawal Appointment Checklist

      Take the completed withdrawal form and your photo ID to your child's school.

      • Bring all textbooks, library books, Chromebook, and Chromebook charger
      • Ensure lunchroom charges are paid
      • Ensure all fees are paid. Fees can be viewed on StudentVUE or ParentVUE. Fees must be paid through MyPaymentsPlus.com
      • The enrolling parent must have their photo ID. Please note that only the enrolling parent can submit a withdrawal request for their child.

      The withdrawal process is not completed until the school receives the signed, verified form. Upon receipt of the completed withdrawal form, the school will review it, verify your identity, and, if needed, obtain any missing information.
