Welcome to the Archer High School Course Registration Website for the 2024-2025 school year!
Please follow the instructions below to successfully register for the courses that you need for next year.
***Remember that these are course REQUESTS. Classes may not be available due to lack of enrollment, teacher availability, the class being full, or schedule conflict.***

Step 1 - Introduction Video
Watch the introduction video below from Mr. Sears that explains the entire process that will take place that will make sure that you have the classes that you need for next year.

Step 2 - Understanding your Graduation Requirements
Watch the video below produced by the Archer High School Counseling Department. This video explains the credits that you need to complete in order to graduate. It also illustrates how you can access your personal course history and credit information in StudentVUE prior to registering for your courses for next year. REMEMBER..it is your responsibility to request classes that you need for graduation.

Step 3a - Core Classes
Beginning the week of January 29th, you will speak with your teachers in Language Arts, Science, Social Studies, and Math. They will make sure that you are registered for the correct course and level for next year.

Step 3b - Upper-Level Elective Courses
Beginning the week of January 29th, you will speak with your CURRENT elective teachers if you wish to take an upper-level course in their area. For example, if you currently are in 3D Art with Mrs. Walker and wish to take Drawing and Painting next year, this would be the time to discuss this. They will make sure that you are registered for the correct course and level for next year.

Step 4 - Research Additional Electives
Beginning the week of January 29th, use the rest of this website to research and find additional electives that you might be interested in taking. We require that you list SIX in the event that classes are full or there are potential schedule conflicts.
For upper-level electives or those that require permission, email the teacher listed. This includes classes that you may have taken the prerequisites in previous years and you would like to get back into that pathway.

Step 5 - Entering Elective Choices into eClass
During the week of February 5th in advisement, you will be able to enter your SIX elective choices into a form in eClass. You will also turn in your elective sheet to your advisement teacher.
We require that you list SIX in the event that classes are full or there are potential schedule conflicts.

Step 6 - Course Request Verification
In a few weeks, at the conclusion of the course request entry process, students and parents will be required to verify that the course requests selected for the 2024-2025 school year are correct. There will be an additional opportunity to make changes in the late Spring and re-verify.
