Kristin Sokol

Local School Technology Coordinator

Kristin Sokol is a Local School Technology Coordinator and works with teachers and students at Gwinnett Online Campus to solve technological problems. She received her bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from Belmont University, a master’s degree in Secondary Mathematics from Piedmont College and a specialist in Educational Leadership from Lincoln University. Her teaching career began in Alabama in 1997 before moving to Gwinnett to teach in 1999. She started teaching math at GOC in 2010 before becoming the math department chair in 2012. She stepped out of teaching and into the role of supporting teachers when she became an LSTC in 2015. Ms. Sokol has presented at the Desire2Learn Fusion Conferences for 2015 and 2017 and currently serves on the Fusion Steering Commitee.
