Ms. Christine Austin

Assistant Principal

Ms. Christine Austin is an assistant principal overseeing full-time and supplemental middle grades, personalized learning and special project development. She believes that one of the greatest challenges of educators today is not only to help students reach their potential but to empower them to exceed it; through her work with the personalized learning team, she is working to create learning experiences that empower all students to exceed their potential.

Ms. Austin began her career in education in 2013, working continuously for Gwinnett County Public Schools. Throughout her career in GCPS, Ms. Austin has served in a variety of roles including classroom teacher, instructional coordinator, and assistant principal. She holds a bachelor’s degree, master’s degree, two specialist degrees, and has completed all coursework for her Doctor of Education degree. She belongs to several professional affiliations including Georgia Association of Educators and iNACOL and is an accomplished speaker; her most recent presentation was a session on the Implementation of Innovative and Blended Learning Models at the Digital Learning Association Conference in Austin, Texas. Additionally, Ms. Austin is regularly featured as a guest panelist on Future of School presentations and webinars.
