  • Welcome to Lovin Elementary School! 

    We are so glad you are here.  Please read the information below and follow the steps to complete online registration. 

    In order to register your child to attend Lovin Elementary School, you will need to look below and select which category pertains to you. Registration is completed online using our Online Registration system and all documents are also uploaded using this system.  When you have completed this process, please contact our registrar at lovin.records@gcpsk12.org or 678-518-6940 to discuss the final steps needed to register your child for the school year. Parents are responsible for presenting all required documentation at the time of registration.

    If you need to complete a withdrawal, please see the separate area below for an online withdrawal form and then contact our registrar at lovin.records@gcpsk12.org or 678-518-6940.

     Steps for successful registration:

    1. Make sure you have the required documentation.
    2. You will need an active email address. If you do not have one, please create one (ex: gmail, yahoo, hotmail).
    3. Use the online registration link below to create a new account. If you already have an online registration account, please login using that information.

  • My Child Will Be a Kindergartner for the 2024-25 School Year

    To begin the process, please register your child online via the Gwinnett County Registration Portal. If you have a current GCPS Student and are adding a NEW KK student, you will go to the Parent Portal and open your account and ADD a NEW student. 

    Once online registration has been completed, gather the following documents:

    • An official document showing proof of birth date
    • Proof that you live in the attendance zone (Utility Bill, Mortage Statement, Lease Agreement, etc.)
    • A valid certificate of immunization
    • Evidence of Vision, Hearing, Dental, and Nutrition Screening (GA Form #3300-Rev, 2013)
    • A Photo ID for the adult registering the child
    • Proof of authorized person to enroll
    • Child's social security number (or you may sign a waiver at the school)

    Make an appointment with our Lovin Elementary Registrar to complete enrollment.

  • My Child Will Be Attending a GCPS School for the First Time

    To begin the process, please register your child online via the Gwinnett County Registration Portal.

    Once online registration has been completed, gather the following documents:

    • An official document showing proof of birth date
    • Proof that you live in the attendance zone (Utility Bill, Mortgage Statement, Lease Agreement, etc.)
    • A valid certificate of immunization
    • Evidence of Vision, Hearing, Dental, and Nutrition Screening (GA Form #3300-Rev, 2013)
    • A Photo ID for the adult registering the child
    • Proof of authorized person to enroll
    • Child's social security number (or you may sign a waiver at the school)
    • Report cards or official school transcript (current K-12 student)
    • Withdrawal form from previous school (current K-12 student)

  • My Child Was Previously Registered at a Gwinnett County School

    If your child was ever registered in any Gwinnett County Public School (even if there was a gap in attendance) you do not need to register again. 

    Contact the Lovin Elementary Registrar at lovin.records@gcpsk12.org or 678-518-6940 to make an appointment and bring the following documents:

    • An official document showing proof of birth date
    • Proof that you live in the attendance zone (Utility Bill, Mortgage Statement, Lease Agreement, etc.)
    • A valid certificate of immunization
    • Evidence of Vision, Hearing, Dental, and Nutrition Screening (GA Form #3300-Rev, 2013)
    • A Photo ID for the adult registering the child
    • Proof of authorized person to enroll
    • Child's social security number (or you may sign a waiver at the school)

  • My Child Will No Longer be Attending Lovin Elementary

    WITHDRAWAL PROCESS

    1. You will need to complete a withdrawal form.
      • To complete the withdrawal form online, click this link and submit the form.
      • You may also download and complete the respective withdrawal form. You will only need to complete the first section of the form (up until the withdrawal date).
      • If you are unsure of your child’s FTE# or GTID#, please leave these fields blank and a representative from your child’s school will complete these sections.
    2.  If you downloaded the form, email the completed withdrawal form, along with a copy of your ID to the Lovin ES Registrar at lovin.records@gcpsk12.org.  If you complete the form electronically, you will need to email the Lovin ES Registrar. On receipt of the completed withdrawal form, the school will review the form and contact you to verify your identity, and if needed, to obtain missing information.
    3. After verifying your identity, the school will email you directions on how to open an encrypted PDF message sent by Gwinnett County Public Schools.
    4. The school will complete the remaining sections of the form and finalize the withdrawal process by securely emailing you the encrypted withdrawal forms.
    5. An Enrollment Verification Form will also be included in the encrypted email. This form should be completed by the student’s new school and faxed back to the withdrawing school to complete the process.
