Readers Rally

Each year, a county committee chooses 15 amazing books for students to read. In the Spring, there is a quiz bowl over the books for all schools.

Through the years, Head Elementary has won the division and the overall championship. Here is a recap of one of our RR championship seasons.

Readers Rally Champions

We now have a school-wide readers rally program that takes place during lunch. Fourth and fifth graders who read all of the 15 books are invited to play and then talk about the big themes in the books.
