SENIOR WEEK ACTIVITIES - APRIL 22-26
Posted 3/25/24To Help you plan for 4/26 Senior Walk - post from ParentSquare
Parents/Guardians:
We are working to celebrate your students at our annual Senior Breakfast and Walk on Friday, April 26, 2024. To help you plan, please review the following information:
- Students will report to 1st period and will be released to Breakfast after attendance is taken. Dual Enrollment, Grayson, & Maxwell students should report to the Commons by 7:20am. PLEASE NOTE, parents and friends are not allowed inside the school for security reasons. Please see #3 for details.
- Students will receive their cap & gown, senior letters, cords (if earned), honor stoles (if earned), yearbooks (if purchased), and of course Waffle House Breakfast. There will also be information shared about upcoming graduation!
- In order to be sure you see the Senior Walk, we ask that family and friends arrive no later than 9:15am to the MVHS Stadium. This should allow you enough time to park and walk to the stadium before the walk begins. Friends and family are welcome to sit on the home side of the stadium only. You’re welcome to bring balloons, signs, flowers (etc.) to celebrate your senior.
- Following the walk, you will have a chance to take photos with your senior on the field.
- Please carpool and park on Lena Carter Road. The faculty and student parking lots will be full.
Students will have the opportunity to check out by completing a pre-checkout form that will be distributed starting tomorrow. Mrs. Holcombe and I will be in ALL lunches on Wednesday (4/10) to hand out check out form. If a student cannot pick up their ( NEON GREEN) form at lunch, they can see Mr. Owens in room C204 (Business Ed Pod) or Mrs. Holcombe in room D300 (Lab above the Atrium).
The form must be signed and returned (no electronic copies accepted) no later than 2pm on April 22.
We’re so excited to celebrate the Class of 2024!
