Graduation is such a special time and we're so happy to share this moment with you. While all details may not be known right now, there are some things you should know to help you have a wonderful experience.
- Be sure you've paid your Senior Fees as soon as possible. You can find more info about Senior Fees on the link above.
- Take care of ALL obligations (Chromebooks, calculators, books, uniform fees, etc...) by NOON on Tuesday, 5/21. Ms. Teague will send emails to parent and student personal emails (ones listed when you pay your Senior Fees with Scholastic Images) with any information on obligations.

GRADUATION PRACTICE & TICKETS
Graduation practice will take place on Thursday, May 23, 2024 TIME from 8am-10am in the MVHS Commons. Seniors MUST BE IN THEIR SEATS by 7:50am (hey, it's later than 1st period so you should be fine).
Attendance is MANDATORY.
Students will receive their tickets (Qty TBA) for Graduation during practice so make sure you are there and ON TIME. A ticket is required for everyone who is attending - this includes children of all ages.
At this time, we do NOT know the exact number each senior will receive, but will post it as soon as we do know. Stay tuned for more details.
As of 3/8/24, we can confirm that all seniors participating in the graduation ceremony will receive 14 tickets.
Please note that there are no extra tickets available so please talk to other seniors who may not use their allotted amount.
GENERAL GRADUATION EXPECTATIONS
- NO CELL PHONES, Wallets, or Purses ALLOWED. Graduates cannot have their cell phones during the ceremony.
- You should plan to leave in your locked vehicle.
- Graduates will have to pass through metal detectors and a security checkpoint.
- Students should only have ONE (1) car key/fob with them.
- Dress Code: You will be turned away from the ceremony if you do not comply so please plan accordingly!!
- Ladies: wear a dress that doesn’t show below or above the gown; OR BLACK pants & top combo that doesn’t show above the gown (NO JEANS). BLACK shoes are required. You may wear flats or dressy open-toed shoes, and only skin colored hose if desired. No casual sandals, flip flops, or tennis shoes.
- Gentlemen: BLACK dress pants (NO JEANS), BLACK dress shoes, BLACK socks with a WHITE collared dress shirt (no polos). No casual sandals, flip flops, or tennis shoes.
- Do NOT decorate your cap or gown in any way
- ONLY Approved MVHS cords will be worn.

So many families are preparing for this upcoming graduation, and while we CANNOT confirm all the details, we can give you an overview of the day. If this is your first student to graduate, you probably want to have an idea so please check out the times below
12:00pm Graduates should arrive at the Gas South Arena. A map and parking pass will be provided during the Graduation practice on 5/23. Students MUST be on time.
1:00pm The Arena doors will open for parents, families and those with a TICKET. Every person (children of all ages) must have a ticket to enter graduation. Parents, please be aware that the Arena has a CLEAR BAG policy for entry into the graduation. Remember, seniors will receive their ticket allotment at the Graduation Practice on 5/23/24.
2:00pm MVHS Graduation begins. (The ceremony should last less than 2 hours)

Magic Moment Photography will be up front during the MVHS graduation ceremony Monday, May 27th. Preorder your ceremony picture from the moment your
senior receives their diploma! Package prices will go up $5 per package the day after graduation. Printed package should arrive to your home about 2 weeks after graduation (emailed packages
