  • Senior Portrait Make Up Day

    Seniors who missed their summer portraits may sign up on Mrs. Ortman's door in late August to make an appointment for September 11 for make up pictures

  • Underclassman Portrait Make Up Day

    Underclassman make up pictures will be held September 21 during Bear Times.

  • National Recognition

    The National Scholastic Press Association awarded the 2015 Summit yearbook with an All-American ranking with marks of distinction in all five areas possible - Concept, Writing/Editing, Design, Photography, and Coverage.  The 2015 staff is proud to have been recognized on the national level.

    The Columbia Scholastic Press Association awarded the 2015 Summit yearbook a Gold Medal.

  • State Recognition

    The Georgia Scholastic Press Association awarded the 2015 Summit yearbook the state's All-Georgia award for receiving first place in the state for the work on last years book. Numerous individual awards were also awarded to MV students. 1st place portrait photography Zee Doeling, 1st place sports photo Joshua Gilbert, 1st place cover design, 1st place theme development, 1st place layout design Anna Martinez.
