The GCPS Parent Portal is a valuable resource for information about your child’s academic career: grades, attendance, discipline and testing.


    Never registered?

    Download the Parent Portal form. Bring the completed form and a picture ID to the front office. Within a few days, GCPS will send an email with directions to activate the account.

    To change your phone number(s), mailing address or email addresses

    Phone numbers and student's nickname
    Parents can update student's home phone number and emergency contacts through Parent Portal. They can also update the student nickname.
    Home address and email address
    Parents cannot change a home address on Parent Portal. That has to be done in person with supporting documents that the school places on file.
    Email changes also have to be done in person. Complete another Parent Portal application and present it at the main office with a photo ID. Please write CHANGE OF EMAIL on top of the form.
