Hello! My name is Catherine McGowan. I'm happy to be a School Counselor at Harmony!

Before becoming a certified special education teacher, I worked as a paraprofessional for four years with Special Education Pre-K. I also taught special education students for nine years before becoming a school counselor.

I love to encourage students, help them make friends and feel important. Building relationships with teachers and parents is necessary for students to be successful. I love what I do!  Kids are awesome!

I enjoy reading, roller skating, camping, riding my bike, spending time with my family, and spoiling my grandchildren. Please feel free to contact me with any concerns.
