Berkmar's Construction Academy is the only program of its kind in Gwinnett County. It offers students the opportunity to learn the trade skills needed for the industry with a standard high school curriculum. 

Construction

This industry includes the building of new structures as well as additions and modifications to existing ones. The  construction industry also includes maintenance, repair and improvements to these structures.

All Construction Pathways have the same 1st and 2nd year course:

• Industry Fundamentals and Occupational Safety
• Introduction to Construction

3rd Year options include a focus of study in one of four fields:

• Carpentry
• Drywall
• Electrical
• Masonry
• Plumbing
