The College and Career Academies at Berkmar High and Gwinnett County Public Schools are committed to providing students with more of the advanced skills they need to be successful, productive citizens in college, career, and life.

The primary goal of the College and Career academies is to provide relevant, real-world experiences and opportunities for students to apply their learning outside the confines of the classroom.

In an Academy, students learn language arts, math, science, and social studies in the context of a career pathway theme. Learning through the lens of a career or academic theme provides each student with a highly personalized learning environment.
