Hispanic Organization Promoting Education (HoPe)

  • About Us

    The mission of HoPe ( Hispanic organization promoting education) is to increase the graduation rate among Hispanic high school students through leadership, education and community service. HoPe is a national organization and local chapters offer membership to ANY high school student.  Membership dues are $25 and should be paid on MyPaymentsPlus.

    Meetings

    Meetings will be held in the media center from 2:30-3:45pm.  Dates will be communicated to members via REMIND.  The code to join the HOPE REMIND is @mchshope22.

     

     

  • Do you need to be Hispanic to join?

    No, HoPe is open to ANY high school student!

  • Can you cord?

    Yes, but you must meet the requirements.
    Senior cord requirements (must meet at least 4)

      • Must be a graduating senior
      • Must have a 3.0+ GPA
      • Be a HoPe member
      • Attend 7+ general monthly meetings
      • Completed 15+ Hours of Community Service
      • Attend 75% of HoPe functions

     

  • What are the dues and what do they cover?

    The HoPe dues are $20 and they cover a membership box that will be delivered to members' doorstep).  HoPe membership dues are to be paid on the official HoPe website.
