The Academy

All 9^th graders are part of The Academy at Mountain View High School. The purpose of The Academy is to provide an effective learning environment while helping 9^th graders transition to the high school setting. The goals of The Academy are for every 9^th grader to make it to 10^th grade in the first year and to acclimate successfully by becoming a fully engaged high school student.
