What is a Digital Citizen?

A digital citizen is a person who develops the skills and knowledge to effectively use the Internet and other digital technology, especially in order to participate responsibly in social and civic activities.  (Definition from Dictionary.com) Students can deepen their knowledge of the components of what makes a good digital citizen through lessons, discussions with parents, and websites linked on the right.
