  • The 2025-2025 Course Selection Process is underway! 

    Timeline Spring 2025

    January 2025 - February 4, 2025

    Teachers at South Gwinnett High School have provided the Curriculum Office with recommendations for students’ core classes (Language Arts, Math, Science, and Social Studies) as well as their Academy Pathway Courses (rising 11th & 12th grade students) and upper-level Fine Arts and Modern Language courses.

    February 2024

    Week of February 3 - February 10: 

    Teachers at our cluster middle schools, Grace Snell Middle School and Snellville Middle School, will provide the Curriculum Office will complete recommendations for rising 9th grade students’ core classes and academy.

     

    February 4 - 11: SGHS Curriculum Office collect, review, and begin entry of core course requests

    February 4 - 11: Students will make elective course selections via electronic form.

    February 3 – 21: Curriculum office review enter all grade level core and elective course choices

    February 24: Initial Course Requests (Schedules) sent to Rising 9th Grade students and parents via StudentVue and ParentVue for Review.

    February 24 - 26: Rising 9th Grade Students/Parents verify Initial Course Requests (Schedules) and make adjustments via Course Adjustment Forms

    March 10 - 14 (revised from March 3th-5th): Rising 10th - 12th Grade Students/Parents verify Initial Course Requests (Schedules). Students can make adjustments to their schedule request in-person during assigned lunch period.

    February 24 - March 21: Curriculum Office updates course requests from adjustment forms. Counseling Office reviews rising 10th-12th grade course requests for required graduation requirements.

    March 24 - 28: Updated Course Requests delivered to students and parents via StudentVue and ParentVue

    March 17 - Late May: Curriculum office begins building Master Schedule; contacts students/parents to resolve any conflicts with courses on students' schedules
