On April 25th, 2023, Lanier Middle School celebrated its 50th anniversary. We want to express our gratitude to everyone who made this event so very special.  Special appreciation goes out to Dr. Mary Kay Murphy, Gwinnett County Public Schools Board of Education District 3, Dr. Calvin Watts, Gwinnett County Public School Superintendent,  Lanier Cluster Superintendent Clifton Alexander, Lanier Cluster Principals, Mayor Branden Hembree, Mayor of Sugar Hill, and former Lanier Middle School Principal, Jaime Espinosa. 

Additionally, we recognize the following students and Fine Arts programs who were an integral component of the celebration and illustrate the work that has taken place during the last 50 years: The Lanier Chorus and Orchestra, 8th grade student Mahniyah Williams and 8th grade student Anjika Shah.
