Assessing Comprehension and Communication in English State to State (ACCESS)
A standards-based, criterion referenced English language proficiency test
designed to measure English learners' social and academic proficiency in English.
It assesses social and instructional English as well as the language associated with
language arts, mathematics, science, and social studies within the school context
across the four language domains (Speaking, Listening, Reading, and Writing).Required ACCESS Testing for English Learners (ESOL)

WHO: ESOL Students ONLY
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: The ACCESS test is a state assessment administered yearly to ESOL students to determine eligibility for services for the next school year. This test is important for all ESOL students to take in order for the school to know whether or not to continue enrollment in the ESOL program each year or exit the program. It also is used in determining the appropriate level of courses for students for the next school year. (See attached flyers for more information)

The ACCESS Assitant Principal (Jessica Layana) will reach out to those students who need access testing.
Passes are delivered to those students with time and location of the test.
