Who's my Counselor?
Mrs. Burke is the counselor for students with last names A - G in grades 9 - 12.
Mr. Weiland is the counselor for students with last names H - O in grades 9 - 12.
Mrs. Cole-Garner is the counselor for students with last names P - Z in grades 9 -12.

How do parents request an appointment to meet with the counselor?
Parents can request an appointment by contacting their student's counselor via e-mail or phone as listed on the Counseling Welcome page.

How do I make an appointment with my counselor?
Students can make an appointment with their counselor by using the link on the Counseling E-Class page. Parents should use the parent link on the Counseling Welcome page on the GSMST website.

How do I find my HOPE GPA?
Students can find their HOPE Calculated GPA on the GA Futures website. The HOPE GPA is calculated by the Georgia Student Finance Commission using only core classes. We do not calculate the HOPE GPA.

GA Futures does not have my transcript/HOPE GPA
GA Futures does not have my HOPE Calculated GPA or transcript. What do I do?
Make sure you bring a copy of your social security card to the counseling office. Gwinnett County sends transcript information to GA Futures after grades have been finalized each semester. You will need to wait until after next semester to see your HOPE calculated GPA in GA Futures after the updated information is transferred when grades are finalized.

How do I get a copy of my Transcript?
You can order an official copy of your transcript on My Payments Plus.
Unofficial copies are available under the "Documents" tab on the Parent/Student Portal.
