GSMST students are required to complete 10 Community Service/Volunteer Hours each year with a total of 40 hours by graduation. Students who complete 200 Community Service hours are recognized with a Service Cord at graduation. Students can enter volunteer hours using the x2VOL program. The x2VOL program allows students to find volunteer opportunities, log hours, and obtain a transcript of their service hours to use when applying for internships, employment, scholarships, and when completing their college and university applications! Students can contact their school counselor during Counseling Corner during lunch in the cafeteria each Wednesday for more information and assistance with the x2VOL program.
