Important Transportation Information
Our arrival and dismissal times are extremely busy! Please adhere to the following guidelines as stated in our Student Handbook so that we can keep all of our families and staff members safe.
Vehicle traffic is not permitted in the bus entrance during the following hours. There are no exceptions. For in-person parent conferences, please park in the side parking lot.
- 7:45 a.m. - 8:15 a.m.
- 2:25 p.m. - 3:15 p.m.
- 12:00 p.m. - 12:45 p.m. on Early Release days.
Car Riders: Parent pickup is routed to the side entrance of the school.
- For the health and safety of students and staff, car engines must be turned off if arriving before 7:45 a.m. or 2:45 p.m.
- The car rider line will be open in the morning from 7:45 a.m. to 8:15 a.m. The entrance to the car rider line will close promptly at 8:15 a.m. to allow staff to report to classrooms. If you arrive at 8:15 a.m. or later, please park in the side parking lot and escort your child(ren) to the front office for check-in.
- For safety reasons, new car rider tags are issued at the beginning of each school year. Parents driving children should obtain a car rider tag from the front office. Each family with car rider students will receive two (2) tags. Additional tags may be purchased for $5.00 each. This number identifies the student to the vehicle. Parents without a tag must check their child(ren) out through the front office. Picture ID is required.
- Safety of all students is an ongoing concern for Ivy Creek staff members. We cannot assume responsibility for students picked up in unsupervised areas. Parents are required to follow car rider policies and procedures.
Walkers: Due to traffic on Ridge Road, students who walk to school must be accompanied by an adult.
FOR ALL TRANSPORTATION CHANGES: Please send a written note to the front office on the day of the transportation change. DO NOT send an email or call the school. We can not accept transportation changes over the phone.
Thank you for adhering to these guidelines!
