The mission of the Peachtree Ridge High School (PRHS) Counseling Department is to aid students’ personal, social, vocational, and academic development by removing barriers to success so that all students feel empowered to reach their lifelong academic and career goals. We believe that every student has the ability to be successful.

The PRHS Counseling Department will help remove barriers and promote student success to prepare our students to become the standard of excellence in a dynamic global environment. As students take part in a comprehensive guidance and counseling program, while pursuing excellence both inside and outside the classroom, they will become effective students, responsible citizens, productive workers, and lifelong learners.

The PRHS Counseling Department seeks to be an integral part of PRHS and the PRHS community. The PRHS Counseling Department will support and guide students by removing barriers and promoting student success in order to prepare all PRHS students to become the standard of excellence in a dynamic global environment as they continue their education at the postsecondary level or enter the workforce.
