4th and 5th Grade Chorus
GES Chorus is an excellent extra-curricular opportunity for 4th & 5th graders! It is a great way for students to connect with peers. Chorus is a team which measures success in smiles and singing, not in statistics or on a scoreboard. The Choruses perform a December and Spring concert.
The Chorus auditions take place each October. Rehearsals take place at 7:45 AM twice a week, beginning in late October. Dues are $25 for the year, payable after audition results are announced.
Chorus Director: Le Gibson -

Ram Buddies
Ram Buddies are selected 5th Grade students chosen by their 4th Grade teachers and Counselor RoseMary Ruffner each year. These students are the peer leaders of our school and their 5th Grade classes. These students are chosen because of their leadership skills, their positive attitude towards school, their academic and conduct grades, and the positive examples they set for their fellow students. Ram Buddies are responsible and dependable!
Ram Buddies are assigned to a specific classroom teacher to help younger students in that classroom. They also assist with orientation, school tours for new parents and students, and various projects throughout the year.

Robotics Club
Adult coaches guide FIRST® LEGO® League student teams (up to 10 members). Team members apply science, engineering, and math concepts, plus a big dose of imagination, to develop solutions to real-world challenges. Students also design, build, and program LEGO MINDSTORMS®-based robots to perform autonomous “missions” on a playing field. Along the way, team members develop critical thinking, team-building, and presentation skills.
