Student Chromebooks
Chromebooks and chargers are checked out to each student. These devices are GCPS property provided as part of In-Person Learning and/or Digital Learning Days. You are expected to return the device in proper working order when unenrolling your child from Britt Elementary school, or in the last week of school.
GCPS 1:1 Chromebook Program
All GCPS students will have a Chromebook assigned to them for the 2024-2025 school year. Students can also check out a Hotspot for internet access based on demonstrated need. Families may contact their schools to discuss options. If a GCPS technology resource is assigned to a student and taken home, it is the family’s responsibility to monitor the use of the device to ensure the student is following the Student Conduct Behavior Code and to ensure that the device is returned in the condition in which it was received. Students are expected to care for the device as outlined in the GCPS Device Care Expectations.

Digital Learning Days
The Gwinnett County Public Schools 2024-2025 school calendar includes two make-up days to address school days missed due to inclement weather. With this in mind, it is possible that any additional days missed due to inclement weather this school year will be made up using Digital Learning Days.
