PTA at Mountain Park
We purchase materials for our school and support teachers and their initiatives. The large wooden school sign, metal benches, bike rack, trash cans, planters and gym water cooler are several examples of where our PTA supported our school last year. We host family events that are affordable and fun for all ages. We also sponsor several enrichment programs during the year including Reflections (a national PTA art program), Watch D.O.G.S, and cultural arts programs that include live performances for the students. The PTA also provides services such as the Paw Press (our weekly newsletter) and the Cougar Caller (our student directory).
Please see the Mountain Park PTA website or Mountain Park PTA Facebook Page for more information,
including a list of the PTA board members and their email contact information.

We Need Your Help
In order to be successful, Mountain Park needs the support and involvement of our families, faculty, staff, and community business leaders. There are many opportunities to be an active member of the PTA, whether you work inside or outside the home.
- Become a member of the Mountain Park Elementary School PTA.
- Consider attending a PTA meeting – they are a great way to hear about upcoming events and meet others in our community.
- Support our fundraising programs such as the Fall Read-a-thon, spirit wear sales and book fairs.
- Participate in the many events and programs that we are planning for the year.
Your participation could be that of a committee member, volunteer, or as an attendee. Whatever level of participation you select, your time and involvement will certainly be appreciated.
Parent involvement is one of the key factors in a successful and rewarding education experience. Please take a moment to review the Volunteer Information section in the handbook and choose the committee(s) on which you would be interested to serve. Children take great pride in their parent’s involvement and it gives the entire family a stronger sense of community and school spirit.
