Early Dismissal/Cancellations Due to Emergencies/Inclement Weather

If inclement weather or other emergency causes school to be canceled or dismissed early, public announcements will be made on GCPS Television, local television stations, GCPS email, and on the school system’s website (https://www.gcpsk12.org/). Cancellations usually are announced shortly after 6 AM. DO NOT CALL THE SCHOOL. Students will follow regular dismissal/transportation home procedures if school is dismissed early due to weather.
