Hello and Welcome,

As the Media Specialist, I teach Library Science, Research and coordinate with the IB program as the Extended Essay Coordinator.  I completed my undergraduate studies at Western Illinois University, obtained my Masters in Library Media at Georgia State, and completed my Specialist in Instructional Technology at Kennesaw State. I am certified teacher of Biology and AP Biology; I am also certified to teach Gifted classes across all fields.  

I grew up surrounded by books and farm land and on hot sunny days, after all the chores had been done, my family and I would sit and read.  Dad the newspaper or farmers' almanac, Mom the latest on floral gardening, and my siblings and I had tight grips on Sherlock Homes, Nancy Drew, Little House on the Prairie, Foundation Trilogy, and all things comic. We loved to read, we traveled around the world and then into outer space!
