This course supports the language development of college-bound students. Each semester will have a balance of composition, applied grammar, and literature. The development of vocabulary, speaking, listening, researching, and test-taking will be ongoing during each semester.

This course challenges college-bound students to extend and refine their use of language. Each semester will have a balance of composition, applied grammar, and an in-depth study of literature. The development of vocabulary, speaking, listening, researching and test-taking will be ongoing each semester.

• 9th grade Survey of Literature
• 10th grade World Literature
• 11th grade American Literature (EOC/Milestone course)
• 12th grade British Literature or Multicultural Literature

Students can use Advanced Composition through Gwinnett Tech or Dual Enrollment to take the place of 10th or 12th grade LA.
