  • Classroom Guidance

We aim to meet with classes regularly in order to provide developmentally appropriate lessons to all students. These lessons may focus on a variety of topics such as positive character traits, academic success, or career planning. All lessons will align with Georgia's Competencies for the appropriate grade level, as well as the American School Counselor Association's (ASCA's) Mindsets & Behaviors for Student Success.

  • Small Groups

Some students may benefit from a small group setting. Small groups typically include 6 to 8 students and take place over the course of several weeks. These groups may be focused on a variety of skills or topics such as making and keeping friends, study skills, emotion management, divorce, or even grief.

  • Individual Counseling

Should an individual concern arise, students are welcome to meet with the counselors. Individual counseling sessions are short-term. Meeting with the school counselor is not a replacement for mental health counseling or psychotherapy. Should a student need extra assistance, the counselor with discuss other options with that student's parent(s) or guardian(s). Parents and teachers are welcome to refer students by filling out the referral form on this website.
