The clinic is run by a trained adult and not a registered nurse. First Aid will be administered in the clinic. Parents will be called if students are too sick to remain in school, have been seriously injured, or are running a temperature. It is critical that the school has current phone numbers in the event of an emergency.

School personnel shall not provide students with any medications. Should medication be required at school, the parent/legal guardian must provide the medication, along with a completed GCPS Medication Administration  Form to the school prior to administration of any medication. Medications must be received in the original container. Students are not allowed to transport medication to and from school, so it must be delivered by a parent.
