Terra Club

  • This 5th-grade club focuses on Earth issues on a local level, such as watershed conservation, the decline of the number of Monarch butterflies, and gardening for food. Students will have an opportunity to compete in a national “River of Words” competition, where they can submit their (nature-themed) original artworks, poetry, and photography.
Students will be outdoors whenever possible. We often work on maintaining/improving our outdoor classrooms. Sometimes, there is a news crew that reports on environmental issues to the rest of the Mason students and staff.
